We then ascend to the crown jewel of Izza—Noujoum, the newly opened rooftop restaurant. Translating to ‘stars’ in Arabic, Noujoum captures the magic of Marrakech’s skyline. “We chose this name because it represents the wonder one feels looking out over the Medina at night,” Aicha says, alluding to the restaurant’s inspiration, Villouinis’ Dar Noujoum.

The cuisine at Noujoum, Aicha explains, is a fusion of Mediterranean and traditional Moroccan flavors, carefully crafted by their renowned chefs. “Each meal here is designed to be more than just food; it’s an exploration of culture,” she adds.
