Casa Fashion Show 2024: A Celebration of Peace, Diversity, and Style
Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, amidst a particularly complex international context, the Casa Fashion Show 2024 marks its twelfth anniversary with a tribute to peace and ethnic diversity.
“Peace and Love” is the chosen theme by Kenza Cheddadi and artistic director Hakim Ghorab. Expect vibrant runway displays, warm colors, and couture garments tailored to women of all backgrounds, transcending borders and religions.
From velvet to colorful sequins and jacquard pieces, the showcase aims to honor visionary women, pioneers of peace, and beacons of light, taking the first step towards collective awareness.
“You don’t need to be a celebrity to have your red carpet moment; every woman has the right to shine.” Specializing in unique couture dresses, with a passion for art and fashion, Mae Paris will kick off the event. Sara Chraibi, one of the few Moroccan designers featured in the official Paris Haute Couture calendar, will close the Casa Fashion Show 2024 as the guest of honor. Also present will be Moroccan-origin designers Ahmed Talfit, Karim Tassi, Siham Tazi Lahlou, Mina Binebine, Nadia Pereira, Ghita Lahrichi, Myriam Bouafi, and Mao Lakhdar. Tunisian designer Soraya Jaziri (Soraya Haute Couture) and Senegalese designer Adama Paris will join, alongside international brands Elisabetta Franchi and Sara Battaglia at Muses Casablanca. Moroccan brand Zilarussi will be the footwear partner of the event.
The Casa Fashion Show mirrors our society – diverse, bold, and avant-garde. It’s not just a runway; it’s a spectacle combining fashion, music, and dance. Tayc and Matt Pokora will perform iconic hits, surrounded by 30 international models, including Amandine Petit (Miss France 2021), April Benayoum (Miss World France 2021), and top models Paula Boluda and Vika Bronova. The event will be hosted by Inès Vandamme, known for her participation in “Dancing with the Stars” on TF1 since 2019.
As in previous years, the Casa Fashion Show will precede, on Thursday, May 2, 2024, with a tribute to young designers. Alia and Lamia Lahbabi (Aele Studio), Karima Ellahyani (Itri), and Soraya Jaziri (Soraya Prêt à Porter) will unveil their newest collection 2024 in an intimate, warm ambiance, accompanied by the captivating melodies of Moroccan singer Lartiste, known for his hit “Zarzour.”
Becoming a must-attend event, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and supported by the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, the Casa Fashion Show strives to position Casablanca as an international fashion capital, alongside Paris, Milan, and New York. For 12 years, the event has supported the Association des Bonnes Œuvres du Cœur, aimed at breathing life and hope into the “blue babies.”
