Feast of Hope: Marrakech’s Grand Ftour for El Haouz’s Children

Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition, M Avenue, in partnership with the Marrakech-Safi Restaurant Association and SOS Children’s Villages, proudly announces the return of the iconic event, “Ftour du cœur et des sens” (Feast of the Heart and Senses). Scheduled for Friday, March 29, this event promises an unforgettable evening of generosity and warmth, all while supporting the children affected by the earthquake in El Haouz. This second edition is dedicated to raising funds for the renovation of primary schools devastated by the quake in the El Haouz region.

A Noble Cause, A Collective Commitment

As the aftermath of the earthquake continues to affect the region of El Haouz, support and aid for the victims remain crucial and ongoing. This significant charitable event aims to gather funds for the renovation of the ravaged primary schools, providing a beacon of hope and a new educational horizon for the affected children. At the heart of this event is the goal to bring participants together at Africa’s largest solidarity table to tangibly support the educational reconstruction of the region. SOS Children’s Villages, leading the project, will ensure the implementation of necessary actions with the funds raised.

Since the earthquake, the association has launched various initiatives on the ground and continues its work today with a defined action plan and unwavering commitment to the children and communities affected. This includes repairing damaged structures, updating safety standards, improving sanitation facilities, and equipping classrooms with teaching materials.

A Significant Challenge for a Worthy Cause

Symbolizing generosity and solidarity, a majestic table will stretch over 500 meters at M Avenue, providing a unique space where 1,500 guests can share a memorable Ftour. The event’s catering will be handled by Rahal Master Caterer, ensuring a fantastic experience for all participants. A carefully curated artistic program will animate this charitable evening.
