Ichtah Marked International Women’s Day with an Artistic and Cultural Evening

Bringing together a diverse community of artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives, Ichtah hosted an artistic and cultural evening at AnfaPlace Mall in Casablanca to mark International Women’s Day. The event brought together artists, entrepreneurs, and professionals, highlighting diverse artistic expressions and perspectives.

The program featured ephemeral exhibitions and pop-up stores, allowing attendees to discover a variety of artistic works. The event also included talks and performances, providing an engaging platform for dialogue and creative expression.

Among the participants, Ghizlane Mamouni, a lawyer dedicated to women’s and children’s rights through her association KifMama Kif Baba, shared her insights on advocacy and social impact. Filmmaker and screenwriter Sofia Alaoui, known for works such as Animalia and Qu’importe si les bêtes meurent, offered reflections on storytelling and its intersection with social themes.

The evening also showcased artistic diversity with contributions from Ilona Dip, a Franco-Lebanese pianist and educator, who focuses on highlighting female composers through concerts and lectures. Entrepreneur Meryem Mahfoud addressed themes of inclusivity in business, while dancer and choreographer Sara Zniber, founder of Ichtah Dance Movement, discussed the role of dance in artistic and personal expression.

Artists such as Safaa Kotbi, Oussama Mahassine, Hajar Zakariya, Chaima Srhir, and Chedine contributed their unique perspectives, exploring themes of identity, memory, and cultural heritage through various artistic mediums, from photography to digital art and street art-inspired fashion.

Throughout the evening, discussions, slam poetry, dance performances, and interactive art sessions created an immersive experience for guests. The gathering offered a moment of creative dialogue, where women’s voices and artistic expression took center stage in a shared cultural space.
