ILOLI Turns 12: A Culinary Milestone with a Meaningful Impact

For twelve years, ILOLI has been an emblem of Japanese gastronomy in Casablanca, where refined flavors meet minimalist aesthetics. To mark this milestone, the acclaimed restaurant hosted an exclusive anniversary soirée, blending gourmet excellence with a philanthropic endeavor in support of the French association Les Chefs du Cœur.

From the moment guests arrived, they were enveloped in an ambiance of understated elegance and warm hospitality. The evening unfolded with an enchanting live performance by singer-songwriter Yadee, setting the tone for a night of sensory delight. Attendees indulged in a meticulously curated selection of Japanese delicacies, each dish crafted with the precision and artistry that have become ILOLI’s signature.

However, beyond the culinary indulgence, this celebration was anchored in a deeper purpose. Noelle Bouayad, the visionary behind ILOLI, emphasized the evening’s philanthropic essence: “This special event is dedicated to Les Chefs du Cœur,” she shared, highlighting the organization’s mission to support orphanages, hospitals, and care centers by equipping young individuals with the culinary expertise of world-renowned chefs.

Founded five years ago by Naïma Sifer, with the endorsement of Michelin-starred chef Gérard Sallé, Les Chefs du Cœur has brought together a brigade of thirty distinguished chefs, including luminaries such as Guy Martin, the internationally renowned Michelin-starred chef; Sonia Bichet, Meilleure Ouvrière de France in fishmongering and seafood; and Nabil Barina, a world champion pastry chef.

As the association’s patron, Noelle Bouayad sees her involvement as more than just a charitable gesture: “My commitment lies in supporting initiatives that empower children through nutrition and education. What resonates with me is the power of gastronomy as a tool for learning, autonomy, and human connection.” In a significant step toward expanding this vision, a partnership has already been established with the Marrakech Hospitality School, with plans underway to launch a Moroccan chapter of Les Chefs du Cœur.
