Marrakech Fashion Week Unveils MFW District: A New Era of Fashion Innovation
The Marrakech Fashion Week (MFW) is proud to introduce its premier showcase of this year: the MFW District by Movenpick Marrakech. This unique event, running from March 6th to 9th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, will spotlight the innovative work of 45 designers from MFW’s 3rd edition.
Marrakech, with its rich cultural life and vibrant art scene, has been the chosen backdrop for significant fashion unveilings by renowned houses such as Dior and Louis Vuitton. Embracing this heritage, MFW has established itself as the city’s fashion hallmark, drawing inspiration from the global fashion weeks of New York, Paris, London, and Milan. Its aim? To foster encounters and exchanges between Moroccan and international designers, showcasing the craftsmanship and expertise of local fashion creators on an international stage.
The MFW District by Movenpick Marrakech opens its doors to press, incubators, concept stores, and buyers, inviting them to meet the designers and explore their unique creations. This event is a rare opportunity to witness firsthand the innovation and creativity that defines the Marrakech Fashion Week. It’s a celebration of fashion that promises to merge traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with contemporary design, offering a platform for promising talents from the Moroccan and international fashion scenes.
