This festival serves as an exclusive venue for the short film sector and provides invaluable assistance to both aspiring filmmakers and established experts in the trade. The festival, in partnership with Chaoui Production, has implemented an exclusive “Low Budget Film” initiative with the aim of supporting the growth and establishment of the Moroccan short film sector. This programme, which is supported by producer Lamia Chraibi, offers filmmakers comprehensive assistance throughout the entirety of their creative process. This support consists of financial aid, technical guidance, and mentorship. As part of this ambitious programme, Jihane Joypaul and Karim Tajouaout will each present one of their own works this year.
